8 Years and 4 Months

Today, Mr. Smashed Peas and I are celebrating 8 years of marriage.  Whoa!  Really?  Has it been that long?  When I really think about it, we've been together for 12 years already.  We met in Chiropractic school on the very first day and started dating a few months later.  Crazy weird where life takes you, isn't it?  And now we have 4 sweet little kids and one crazy hyper dog to call our family!  My goodness.  Sure there have been some downs with the ups but overall our life together has been awesome, I love that we share the same beliefs, we stretch each other to grow as people, we always have each others back, and we can tell each other anything.  I wouldn't want to do this life with anyone else.  Clif really is such a great match for me, thank you God :-)

So anyways, Yay Us!  We'll celebrate a bit today and more this weekend since middle of the week date-night outs are hard for us to do with work and all.  

In other news...this little man turned 4 whole months at the beginning of the week.

My, oh my!  The smiles we get from him.  I never want to put him down.  Nor do his siblings.  Maybe he'll never learn to move?

He is just starting to get those awesome old man giggles.  Or guffaws.  Whatever they are, I love them.
He is ticklish on his belly, in the crook of his neck, and in is armpits....oh, it's heavenly.

In the last month he has definitely found his hands and those cute chubby little fingers.

He is always gnawing on them...and drooling.  I hope that doesn't mean teeth are on their way anytime soon.

Cause that would mean less of these sweet smiles and more crankiness...

For now, I will just relish in his happy, open-mouth toothless grins...

I don't think he could open his mouth any bigger, do you?  :-)
